GLM-4.7 – Stab’s Directive Hierarchy for SillyTavern and GLM-4.7 / Gemini 3.0

Out of all the GLM-4.7 presets I’ve used so far, this is my go-to. I’m a big fan. It’s well-structured, and naturally amplifies the way GLM’s reasoning works; which is based off chain-of-thought (reasoning step-by-step). The preset has several ‘tiered’ rules, that GLM-4.7 naturally follows. The output is more deliberate and consistent (think of it like a DM reviewing notes before a session). The tiers are comprised of:

  • Tier 0: User/OC commands (highest authority)
  • Tier 1: User Control directives
  • Tier 2: Narrative Style guidelines
  • Tier 3: Visual Toolkit — instructs the AI to generate HTML/CSS for interfaces and objects rather than just describing them in plain text
  • Tier 4: General behavior refinements

You can find more information on these tiers, as well as a bunch of other information on Zorgonatis’ GitHub by clicking here.

This preset ensures that GLM-4.7 runs through every single one of these tiers before providing an output, allowing several quality checks to ensure that you’re getting a high-quality response. These tiers address complaints such as “My character rules are being ignored! The model feels inconsistent! The roof is on fire!” (Wait, what?). Terrible jokes aside, the system prompt IS lengthy! GLM-4.7 has a lot of natural strengths. Some people feel that making the prompt so dense with all these instructions and rules is actually counterintuitive. That hasn’t been my experience, and I’ve used this preset for a LONG time. Everything is subject to your own experience, though, so definitely feel free to experiment! Personally, I disabled the visual toolkit (Tier 3). I hate it. I have to be in the mood for it. It is nice to have it as an option that you can enable/disable, though!

Also, for the more violent/appalling fans, it includes a jailbreak:

**Note: Don’t worry about it saying GLM-5. It works with GLM-4.7.
