RP|Fiend is my personal blog where I share what I’ve learned through time of hands-on experimentation with AI roleplay. I’m Hutch. I’ve spent a long time on SpicyChat, CrushOn, Chub, and most recently SillyTavern. Building extensions, dialing in presets, and experimenting with character cards. I’ve always been drawn to stories; the kind you lose yourself in. The kind that you can spend hours immersed in. Somewhere in that search, I discovered SillyTavern and the other aformentioned platforms that allowed me to express and act upon a world of my choosing. It didn’t just let me read them, but it let me live them. That made all the difference to me. RP|Fiend is my baby, where I bring that obsession out in the open.

Everything on this site is something I’ve personally tested, broken, fixed, or built. That includes extensions, presets and settings, character cards, and my suggestions on what works for me (and may work for you!) Whether you’re just getting started or you’re already cursed, I hope there’s something here that saves you time, or at least points you in the right direction.
